デザイナーの菅野 碧（かんの あおい）によるaoi aurorapole。北海道札幌市出身。都内の服飾専門学校を卒業。複数のブランドでパタンナー、デザイナーアシスタントを経験した後、ファッションスクール「me」でファッションデザインを学ぶ。ブランドコンセプトは「反骨精神の中のフェミニティをドラマティックに描き出す」。

The designer behind aoi aurorapole is Aoi Kanno, born in Sapporo, Hokkaido.
After graduating from a fashion vocational school in Tokyo, she gained experience as a pattern maker and design assistant at several brands, later studying fashion design at the independent school "me".

Deeply influenced by alternative and punk ideologies, her creations are inspired by the volatile and melancholic mood of Japanese youth culture in the 2000s—an era she came of age in—alongside its contrasting sense of playfulness and optimism.

Her work explores universal human experiences such as sorrow, longing, oppression, loneliness, vulnerability, and resilience.
Through her designs, she aims to affirm ambivalent emotions and contradictory realities, portraying a sensual and contemporary human figure.

The brand’s concept is:
“To dramatize femininity within a spirit of rebellion.”
